Online PHP IDE let to edit the PHP script remotely on FTP.  It is really a terrible thing; if you want to edit remote files then you download the script, edit it and then again upload the files. Also most of the FTP clients don’t offer any useful features except a plain text editor.
Online PHP IDE makes our work simple by allowing us to edit and save our work directly to the server.

Before using this you have to login to the FTP server then it will display the remote files at left side. 
Now take a look at the features it offers
  • Highlights HTML tags and PHP directives to easily understand and navigate the file

Chrome Auto-translator uses Google translator APIs to translate the web pages. It makes your task simple by translating pages with just two clicks. You can translate any portion of the web page to any language. Just install it and go to options  page.


Note: You can go to options page only from the Google extensions manager.
In the options, you can select different languages in which you want to translate text.tou can select more than 1 languages and assign them shortcut keys to simplify your work. After configuration, save the changes and that’s it.

Now open the page, hold down the shortcut keys i.e. CTRL and select the text. A tooltip will be displayed containing the translated data.

Apture Highlights

Apture highlight is a very powerful tool that gives you a quick access to Google, Bing, Wikipedia, YouTube, Twitter and Flicker and makes your browsing ever faster and quicker than you ever imagine.
Just highlight the word or phrase and then see its power.  By making a selection, a tooltip will display, just click the tooltip, and you will get the search results from Google, Wikipedia and Bing without even leaving the webpage as shown in figure.

From there, you can run the “You Tube” videos and images. You can view the videos at the same page without leaving the current page. But the images will open in a separate tab. 

All the results are well managed that you can clearly understand that from which source results are taken from. By clicking the “wiki icon” you can access Wikipedia. Just click the “wiki icon” and Wikipedia dialog box will be open. The wiki dialog box gives you the ability to
  •      Navigate back and forward the wiki pages
  •     View the table of contents
  •     Resize the dialog box

Google Shortcuts

“Google shortcuts” displays more than 150 Google services as a button in a space-saving popup. Now you can access your required services i.e. Gmail, Google Docs, Calendar, Maps,  Reader etc easily and quickly with just 2 clicks. “Google Shortcut icon” will be displaced at your address bar. When you hover over the icon, the drop-down containing the services will be displayed. At the end of the list, you will see “option icon” which will help you to
  • Customize the pop-up bar
  • Change the appearance of bar and icons
  • Add custom URLs
 This drop down can be customized by adding or removing further services of your own choice. It not only displays Google services but any custom link can be added in the list i.e. face book, twitter, yahoo, msn etc.

Chrome toolbar is for Chrome released by Google themselves that offers you a plenty of new features which should have been native to your browser. The features that you love to have i.e. tab tweaks, keyboard shortcuts, image magnifier video drag drop etc.   

Lets see what features it offers you.
  •  Hovering over an image will display a toolbar containing options to magnify, view original image size, and set image as background
  •  Allows you to open links always in a new tabs
  •  Drag videos or flash animations from their current page to a new page which will allow you to view videos in a stand alone page.
  • Double click to close the tabs.
  •  “Mute all tabs” allow you to mute the sound opened in all tabs. You can also use ALT+W shortcut to use this feature.
  •  To avoid data loss due to session expiration, it allows you to save and restore all the unsubmitted form data.
Other much more functionalities are available in it than you will love to have.

YouTube Downloader

“YouTube Downloader” is a chrome extension enables you to download videos from YouTube. Now you can get any video from YouTube as 240p*(FLV), 360p*(FLV, MP4, WebM**), 480p*(FLV), 720p*(MP4, WebM*), 1080p*(MP4).
 
After installing this extension, open the YouTube and run any video. When the video player will be displayed, you will see a “Download Button” at the bottom of the player. ESPN Cricinfo

Every cricket fan knows that crickinfo.com is the world’s best site for providing latest cricket news and stories to their fans. It is really hard to access cricket news and stories at work place without clutter.
ESPN cricinfo has launched its extension for cricket fans which will provide them the latest cricket news, features and live scores from cricinfo.com.
After installation, a small icon will be displayed before the address bar. When you click on the icon, a drop down will be displayed containing the updates. This drop down will display information in 3 sections.
  •  Live score
  •  Latest News
  • Specials

“Live score” will show scores of the currently on-going matches. From there, you can select the matches whose news or alerts you want. The “Latest News” will show latest news of the cricket world and the “Specials” will show information of the cricket legends.

Other features which the extension provides are

Score notification: when you run the browser, a small notification will be displayed containing score updates.
Wicket Alerts: This feature will notify you when a wicket will fall at one of your chosen matches, the icon will change to a “W” with red color. Then you can click on the icon to see the wicket that fell.

Desktop Alerts: you can also choose a desktop notifier by enabling this feature from the settings page. This will notify you at your desktop. If you don’t want desktop notifications then disable it.

Furthermore, there is a “score tooltip” which will be displayed when you will hover over the icon. So you don’t have to click the icon or open the dropdown. It also enables you to filter the news stories by country. For this you have to select the countries from the option page. Here you can select the primary countries as well as secondary countries. Up to 2 countries can be selected.
The best thing about this extension is, it is available for two most successful browsers, Firefox and Chrome. For Internet Explorer or other browsers, you can install cricinfo toolbar.

Firepicker

Firepicker is a small plug-in of firebug.  If you are a web developer then you know that what the worth of firebug in web development is. Firepicker adds a color picker dialog to the firebug CSS editor. Whenever you want to add or edit colors of a class property, just click on the value of color i.e. #fff (if already a color applied) or just write “#”, the color picker will be displayed. From it you can select any color of your choice. Now you don’t have to enter color values manually. Just select the color from dialog and it will be automatically parsed as CSS colors (#abc, rgb (1, 2, 3), blue, green)

Search GBY

 If you want to search data then obviously you will use Google, Bing, Yahoo or any other search engine in separate tabs to find your required data. This is a headache for you . What if you are provided an interface where you can access the three world’s most powerful search engines simultaneously? What if you can search the data at Bing, Google, and yahoo at the same time?
Yes, it is possible and Firefox made it possible for you. Firefox has an add-on called “Search GBY”. It provides you search from Google, Bing and Yahoo instantaneously and will display the search results of these three engines in the same tab so that you can easily access the data.
Now take a look at its features 
  • Search Google Bing And Yahoo, instantaneously , directly within each search engine
  • Create a thumbnail of the resulted sites
  • You can use the “Fat Preview” slider which will create slide show of the results. This enables you to visit the results without going to any site.
  • Easily manage and create bookmarks by clicking the “bookmark icon” placed at front of each result.
After installation, “search GBY” will be automatically embedded with these search engines. You just open one of those search engines and search the data. At top of the results you will see a bar containing Google, Bing, Yahoo, Fast preview and Bookmarks icons.


By clicking on search engine’s icon you can get search engine specific results. “Fast Preview” will display the thumbnail slider containing sites thumnails. “Book marks icon” enables you to manage your book marks. But for this you have to be a registered member of “www. http://www.searchgby.com”, then you can get you book marks and manage them.
Please note,  you do not need to uninstall this add on, you can simply turn it on and off by clicking the icon, you can also toggle features on and off, and only use the features you need like ( Fast preview)

Wiki Mini Browser

Wiki mini browser is a wikipedia companion, a google chrome add-on that gives you an easy and quick access to wiki pedia via a small icon and mini broswer. Whenever you want to search data from wikipedia, you have to abandon your work and/or open a new tab. There comes wiki mini browser which makes your work simple.just install it,  click on the  “wiki icon” and mini browser window will appear.

As you can see in picture , wiki icon is placed at address bar. After clicking it , mini broswer will appreare. There, you can enter the search string you want to search. It also contained “Back” and “Forward” buttons to move through the pages. It uses caching which makes this extension efficient and quick and moving to back and forward will be super-fast.
It also contains “Open in Tab” button so that you can open wikipedia in a separate window. It also support multiple languages, you can change its window size, change the font , what should be the primary language for information and what should be secondary language. You can also get the “featured articles” by configuring the settings.

It creates a collapsible accordion to merge these apps rather them opening in separate tabs.

Lightshot

If you want to make screenshot of any area of a webpage or to grab images from any website then Lightshot is the right tool to fulfill your requirements. After selecting the Lightshot icon on the toolbar or status bar, select the area you want to make screenshot and click the “save” or ”Update to server”. After selecting the option you can save file to your computer or upload it to the server.
 
It is possible to resize and move selection area right in a browser tab without opening any additional applications. That makes the process very simple and easy. You also can edit your screenshots (add text, draw lines and more other functions).
There are other tricks to make screenshots superfast:
  • Press “Ctrl” and start selecting area with a mouse. After you finish the selection, the screenshot goes directly to clipboard.
  • If you want to copy a screenshot to clipboard after you’ve selected an area just hit Ctrl+S as usual.
  • Ctrl+S makes fast save in the most recent folder (or "My Documents" if none) without showing "Save As" dialog. Use it for fast saving screenshots in the same folder.
